Google’s new search options are expanding on image search and web search. The biggest addition to arrive is custom date range setting outlined in the red box below:

If you are new to SEO, or have a client in a new vertical, you can not only research rankings searcher get as the status quo, but you?can also review more recently indexed content to see?the evolution of the results dating back over time.
After testing some keywords that I have years of knowledge on,?I can see how my content marketing efforts compare?to the competition’s efforts. Short time frames within the last week or month may not dominate the top 10 results for major keywords today, but with more time, backlinks, and user engagement these are the pages that could one day climb to the top. As we all know, our SEO efforts are not happening in a vacuum. ?Millions of websites are growing every day and we need SEO tools like these to measure what Google is picking up in near real-time.
