Twitter revealed today their new platform to monetized their hugely popular site. Called Promoted Tweets, the platform will place advertiser ads as tweets above search results relating to an advertiser’s product or service.? As it stands now, only a few select partners will have their ads shown on Twitter.? If users do not engage with Promoted Tweets by re-tweeting, favoriting, or replying,? they will be taken off the search results.
